We produce substantial research reports in our monograph series, Report of Investigations. Our research findings are also disseminated to a wide audience through papers presented at professional meetings, published articles, and lectures in other public forums. Numerous ARMS projects have also served as the basis for undergraduate and graduate student research investigations and theses. ARMS serves as a state and federal repository for archaeological data. We maintain an extensive library of archaeological literature concentrating on the Midwest. Besides our literature collection, ARMS also houses extensive artifact collections. We maintain diagnostic artifact and chert type collections as an educational and professional resource. The research collections have established ARMS as a leading resource center for professional and amateur archaeologists, public school teachers and other interested individuals.
